Naya Barretto NP

Nayabei Barretto, FNP-BC, MPH, ADM

Nayabei Barretto (who goes by Naya) is a family nurse practitioner with a diverse background in diabetes care, weight loss management and aesthetics. Naya places high significance on staying current with developments in research and technology while using a holistic approach. She believes both conventional and complementary medicine can play a role in improving your health.

She is a strong advocate of helping patients create a health foundation grounded on healthy food, physical activity and stress management.

Regarding her work in aesthetics, Naya places high importance in providing effective natural looking results in the safest way possible. She believes the best treatment is one that enhances a person’s natural beauty.

Naya is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and has an elementary knowledge of Chinese. During her free time she enjoys foraging for edible mushrooms, making ceramic sculptures and dancing tango.

Landpaths

LandPaths, is an environmental education and conservation organization in Sonoma County. Naya leads mushroom forays as a Landpaths docent and appreciates LandPaths’ mission of creating public access to beautiful places in Sonoma County and nurturing a love for the land.

The Botanical Bus

The Botanical Bus is formed by health equity activists, Promotora Community Health Workers and integrative health practitioners. Their work is committed to anti-racist, trauma-informed care. Programs include Farmworkers Clinics and Wellness Workshops.
